GINGERBREAD MAN SHHH!! IT’S A SECRET!
Kindergarteners begin their experience each year with sweet stories of the Gingerbread Man. As they follow the sneaky little pastry around the school, they see places and meet faces that will shape their lives for the years to come. The day is completed as they are as sly as a fox and catch the Gingerbread Man!
FUN NIGHT
Big times await every wide eyed 1st grader that comes to the Fun night with their teachers. Students will eat pizza and play some fun & exciting games. It is a sweet time of bonding and building relationships that could last a lifetime.
GRANDPARENT COFFEE
A tender musical Christmas performance by our elementary students that moves every heart, including that of the proud grandparent. A buffet of breakfast goodies will be served in Trinity Central before the program begins in the church sanctuary.
CHAPEL
In elementary, chapel programs rotate through classes and grades, ministries, missionaries, and special guest speakers. There is also a special All Family Chapel hosted twice a year in elementary when parents are encouraged to come and sit with their students and worship as a family.
PRAYING FOR MISSIONS TEAMS
Our PreK thru 8th grade students partner with high school missions teams by meeting and praying together before and during missions week. When the teams return, they meet again with the elementary and middle school students to share with them what they have seen God do in their lives and the lives of others.
HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT
Every year, TCS high school students invest time and energy in activities designed to lay a firm foundation – spiritually and relationally – for the exciting year ahead. Guest speakers, special worship music, focused prayer times, and fun activities are used to create an atmosphere where students connect to one another, build relationships with faculty and staff, and prepare to tackle the challenges of the coming year.
HIGH SCHOOL ROAD RALLY
A high school adventure you only wish you could have had. This multifaceted scavenger hunt and high technology mind game is played by teams of high school students driven in vehicles by dads around the city of Lubbock and sometimes beyond. The turns and clues will lead you to the evening’s end for a dinner and a total of points to determine the winners! Plan your teams and your drivers well!
HOMECOMING WEEK
A week to look forward to the return of TCS Alumni, which includes: hallway decorations and costume contests. The week culminates with the homecoming football games and crowning of the homecoming King & Queen and a Homecoming Dance for HS students.
SADIE HAWKINS DANCE
Planned by the Student Executive Council. This dance is for High School Students, where the girls ask the boys. Students do not have to have a date to attend.
JUNIOR/SENIOR PROM
This is a special night used to highlight memories throughout high school and to begin to celebrate the impending senior graduation.
SMALL GROUP DISCIPLESHIP
With a desire to build relationships and ultimately individual disciples of Christ, TCS has enhanced chapel/worship time to include time to discuss, interact, and have accountability with peer groups. These groups meet weekly during regularly scheduled chapel time.
GOD AND NATION A PATRIOTIC PROGRAM!
God and Nation is a program that TCS has put on for over 30 years that honors American Veterans who have served or are currently serving. We believe that freedom is not free, and it’s our privilege and responsibility to impart a patriotic spirit to the next generation.
LEGACY ALUMNI
Many Trinity Christian School Alumni have enrolled their students in their alma mater.
As the second generation TCS Alumni graduates, a new tradition has been created … the Legacy Alumni. TCS honors the graduates with a commemorative Legacy Alumni pin during the graduation ceremony and acknowledges the multiple generations of grads.
Currently, TCS has over 100 Legacy Lions enrolled – or graduated!
