At TCS, our mission is to assist you, the parents, in providing a biblical worldview education to your students, equipping them to become Christ-like leaders in their homes, churches, workplaces, and communities.

There are a couple of things that I hope stand out to you as you hear that statement. First of all, we are an unashamedly Christian school. We view everything we do in the context of discipleship. Education, at its heart, is fundamentally about learning to know our Creator, understanding His creation, and being able to discern the calling He has placed on our lives.

Secondly, we begin with the Bible as the ultimate source of truth. Christianity offers a logically consistent and intellectually satisfying view of all of creation that empowers us to fulfill God’s calling while remaining engaged in the process of fulfilling His cultural mandate. Because of this, we hold to the truth that there is no subject matter that is spiritually neutral.

Finally, the ultimate aim for us as a school is to allow your student to go through the process of wrestling with their own spiritual identity, recognizing their need to own their own faith and to allow that faith to impact their decisions regarding their future career and other life decisions. As stated in our Portrait of a Graduate, “our ultimate goal is to develop mature disciples of Jesus Christ whose lives glorify God. As mature disciples, they will have the foundational wisdom and character necessary to view their rigorous academic (and physical) training as a platform for furthering Kingdom purposes.”

This is who we strive to be, and this is who we believe God has called us to be. It is also why we believe that we are called to a higher standard. Whether it is in the classroom, whether it is on the stage as a performer, or whether it is on the field of competition, we are called to, “work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for humans” (Colossians 3:23).

With all our heart!
