A Positive Learning Experience

From the time you first heard you were becoming a parent, you’ve probably thought about these school years — these formative years when nothing matters more to you than finding the best learning environment.  A positive elementary school experience helps set your child on the right path for their entire academic journey.

But one of the most critical decisions needs to be made by you.

You’ll find everything you want at Trinity Christian School in Lubbock, TX. We’re a college-prep private elementary school where a biblical foundation and an excellent education collide.

At TCS, Biblical Worldview integration means “teaching Jesus” in more than just one class. It’s a consistent theme integrated throughout our program, from Bible memory verses to prayer, chapel, and lessons on godly character. Teaching Jesus is at the heart of TCS education.

We believe strongly in an alignment of values between the home and school. What matters to you, matters to us, which is why we not only support our elementary through exceptional academic fundamentals, but also through social and emotional learning.

TCS Elementary provides…

At Trinity Christian School, students are in small academic classes, where they can focus on their foundational skills, develop problem solving techniques, and learn to think critically. Each child has God-given interests and talents!  Beginning in 1st grade, students are leveled; they are placed in groups where they are working at a similar pace to an even smaller group of their peers.  This allows the student to be challenged – exactly where they are.

At the elementary level, core subjects include:
  • Bible
  • Language Arts
  • Math
  • Science
  • History
Students enjoy a variety of enrichment classes on a weekly basis, including:
  • P.E.
  • Art
  • Music
  • Computer
  • Library

*The elementary school day begins at 8:05 am. Students may arrive as early as 7:35 am to supervised care. After-school care is available until 5:30 pm, allowing time for additional learning, outside play, games, and a snack.

One of the most essential aspects of the elementary experience is our committed staff who lovingly prepare the elementary students for the next leg of their educational journey and walk of faith. Your student will be seen.  And loved!

At Trinity Christian School, our families have the peace of mind that their students are secure – emotionally, as well as physically. Trinity is a closed campus, where interior and exterior doors remain locked.  Faculty, staff, and volunteers are background checked.  We also have a school resource officer on our campus at all times.

Transitional First—A Gift of Time for Lifelong Learning

Transitional first (T1) is a highly differentiated program with the ability to be academically what the student needs; at its core, it is a gift of time to mature. It is there to equip children with the necessary skills to be life-long learners. The essential aspect of the T1 experience is the committed teachers who lovingly prepare the students for the next leg of their educational journey and walk of faith.
