my name is Tyler Neil and I've been at Trinity Christian School for 15 years on the high school principal and head volleyball coach so thought I had my dream job I was a real estate lawyer in Los Angeles just graduated from Pepperdine law and Stanford undergrad and I had really what everybody would think it was just the perfect job and I just knew that that wasn't God calling my life and so after about a year of practicing real estate law in Los Angeles I just knew I needed something else until I got out of that and in and found coaching and and a lot of Hornady young people's lives and then started teaching and realize that that was just extremely satisfied and impact his students lives then has just become the call on my I think the biggest lesson that God has shown me that I want to communicate to our athletes is that their identity is in Jesus Christ all to mately it and who they are in Christ that really matters ultimate I'm asking Colonel significance and give their life purpose and meaning and value and sport is what they do and so we don't do that with excellent ability want to maximize our ultimately for God honor and for God's glory But ultimately our identity our value or intrinsic value is in being created by God to know him to serve him have a relationship with him and then live our lives following him I'm at his plan for allies after 15 years I'm so thankful that I didn't follow my plan but rather follow God's plan for my life and he's brought me to a d Christian Community like Trinity Christian School where have an opportunity to poor into young people's lives the truth and how to how to follow Jesus with their lives and use volleyball and other types of a cat things to do to show them that they're really following Jesus is what life is all about
