my name is Matt Havens I am currently a middle school Bible and health teacher and I'm also Middle School football basketball and track coach coming to school here at Trinity Christian and 7th grade and instantly fell in love with everything about it I'm from the teachers I had to classmates that I was surrounded with to the grades above me and the great below me everything was just so great about TCS am I look back the coaches that I had in my past and so I look at that men like coach Warwick by a thread Bible teacher he was approached through and through and in the way that he spoke to us in the way that if he disciple that's in the way that he pushed us to be more like the Lord was like a coach that was actually sitting in his eighth grade Bible class that I felt the call to be a coach that I felt the cause an impact people the way that coach work at impact in my life and in coaching is just the perfect, the purpose I feel like I have to draw young men and women closer to the Lord mix with the passion that I have for sports I'm always been under the impression that you do what you love and what God has called you to do and I had to take care of everything else that's what the Lord has me here and I love what I do I love coming to work every single day I love everything that I am able to do here and at the coach of course I love when he and and I love allowing my get the opportunity to compete and compete for the glory and the honor of the Lord but the most important thing is is not what I teach you about but I think ultimately that I want to impress upon then is the importance of do everything you can to bring honor and glory to the Lord am I told him every every year in class that that my purpose in this life is to help young men and women fall in love with the Lord or how do I want the kids to remember the results of the games that we went what I ultimately want is for the kids to remember the impact it then their coach had on him and that's ultimate life ultimately my goal is to impact these kids away that I was impacted as a student and as an athlete this this school has helped me. Hear my call and receive my call and then develop the skills that I needed to not be in a position where I feel like I'm fulfilling the call that the Lord has for me and I'm in the position that he wants for me and I and I owe a lot of that to what Trinity Christian School has meant to me
