are y'all ready for this all right we're going to start Welcome to The 20/20 Trinity Christian School grandparent program this year as with everything is a little different we wish you were here with us in the sanctuary but since you're not we are so grateful for this team who's come together to make it possible for us to record this and send it to you we pray that it will honor you and bless you parents you have such a bottle row and your children's life your grandchildren love you very much and I cannot wait to perform for you today I love the saying that said grandparents make the world a little softer a little kinder in a little warmer It also says in the message version in God's word and Psalm 128 that to enjoy your grandchildren so we won't you today to get you a cup of coffee or glass of tea and maybe some hot chocolate and sit back and relax and enjoy this performance of your grandchildren as much as they're going to enjoy doing it for you we wish you a very merry Christmas during Christmas we always travel to San Antonio why were there we eat lots of pumpkin bread and chocolate pie we open gifts which is often Christmas socks last year are SOX played music Mimi always have supper treasure are the grandkids you play board games and other fun things one of my favorites is a game where we named Christmas carols after we get home you spend time with my dad's family you play card games and I love all my grandparents a lot on Christmas Eve my family goes to my Nene and Papa's house in Ransom Canyon my Aunt uncles and four cousins all join us as soon as my cousins walk-in we are so excited we love playing notes and having fun together we always have a wonderful meal that Hueneme Cooks after we eat I love telling the Christmas story to my family after that we go to the candlelight service and celebrate the birth of after the service we drive around and look at all of the beautiful Christmas lights I love going to my grandparents house on Christmas Day my grandparents and my aunt on my dad's side come to our house everyone bring something to live just for dinner and we enjoyed a wonderful meal we always put special poppers on the table and have fun popping them to see what's inside there's always a fun little trinket and a joke we have a great meal talk and have fun together I love Christmas it's my favorite holiday I always have an awesome time with my family I love celebrating the birth of Jesus gingerbread house every Christmas Eve my whole family goes to the Christmas Eve service at our church after the service they go to my grandpa house for a fun dinner one of the things that makes our time together fun is that we open presents differently than most finish no one puts name tags on our gifts the presents are passed out and we choose one open and then we have to figure out who's he get forms to we also make homemade homemade fudge while we open our gifts on Christmas morning my dad reads us the Christmas story and then we head back to her grandparents for more fun and memory making these are my favorite Christmas traditions I love our Christmas traditions every year on Christmas morning we sit on the couch and sing Happy Birthday to Jesus we eat a birthday cake that we make Christmas Eve after that we open our stockings then we load up our car and head to my grandparents house the living room is filled with people and Gifts in the wonderful and the wonderful smell of breakfast casserole after breakfast my aunt uncle niece papa pick a movie for us to watch we Fellowship in Love on each other it's one of my favorite days make it sweet YouTube games fly angel wings Christmas is a merry time that brings us fond memories one Christmas my cousin Jackson went to why Hawaii with us it was him my dad my mom and I huant when we got to the beach to swim and surf the water was warm we got some small waves but it was so fun we got to do some hiking while we went on some zip lines and a cool Forest that has lots of pesky mosquitoes early in the morning the roosters would wake us up in our hotel room at first they were kind of because they would just wake us up so very rudely eventually I got used to it and I would always join in with them in their curly and coarse and Jackson sometimes digital well when we came back I really look forward to having another Christmas in Hawaii on Christmas day my family and I always wake up and go over to my grandparents house the house always smells like delicious food cooking for lunch my favorite is the noodle soup all of the kids play for a while while the parents at the table it's a real Feast that we all enjoy after lunch my grandparents my grandpa Regency Christmas Christmas story from the Bible we continue our Christmas celebration by driving 2 hours to my grandparents home in Stanton we get there like all of our cousins and play in the barn We Gather in the living room and held together to take our annual family picture The Best Day about miss me is the time with my family my favorite Christmas memory is when my cousin couldn't make it to our celebration because she was in the hospital my grandma loves to take pictures so we had to FaceTime my cousin every time she wanted to take another picture we all wore a red nose in most pictures my grandma died a red nose to her phone so that cousin could be in costume into and be a part of it when I have grandchildren I want them to include everyone no matter what 1 Christmas memory I have is when my mom dad sister myself there's a family for Christmas we start out by going to my cousin's home and we watch a Christmas movie didn't we have a big dinner after that we open presents that night we go to my grandparents house to see my family go to sleep anxious for the next morning I loved and we wake up and explain happy birthday Jesus it's a lot of fun one of my Favorite Christmas Memories is when we all went to my grandparents house we ate breakfast and open presents after we opened all of our gifts we raced over to the Christmas tree and try to find a pickle ornament of course I won the last 2 years every year we take turns reading the Christmas story lash next year is my year to read we always have a lot of fun I also love when we get to go to Arkansas for Christmas to see my other set of grandparents we eat a lot of good food and smell out of holiday time with them this isn't sound of Jingle Bells can you tell Santa that sounds about where you play them Play-Doh listen to the dream. Paris isn't down the Jingle Bells there's no marry you can tell this is it when you play them Play-Doh Justin Bieber Take me to the king EvanTubeHD baby music lizards in Nevada we close our eyes as we ran downstairs on Christmas morning we didn't want to see the gifts until I repair look up we ran to the basement to play air hockey puck quick does it bounced across the sides of the table click clack clack I suddenly jumped up I want to play a few more games and finally are. called to us girls time to open presents I love this Christmas memory with my sister my family has some wonderful Christmas traditions we started my grandparents home in Sherman we spend several days with them I love hanging out with family we spend time with our Lubbock families will we build gingerbread houses we have a contest on who can build the best gingerbread house it's usually boys versus girls after we spend time with grandparents and cousins my family gets away to new go to ski for a few days if you on the way there is amazing and gets better and better the further we get into the mountains spending time with friends and family during Christmas are my favorite memory when I think Christmas I think it's in my sister and I wake up in the middle of the night we go downstairs and look at all of our present when we get back upstairs we can't go to sleep the next morning my grandparents come over and eat breakfast at night we go to a gram current house for a big meal with lots of desserts my favorite gifts I remember the blanket from New Mexico all of my cousins got one we all use it a lot Roxanne Roxanne Rakuten Roxy around Minnesota Jessie Brock and it will be alright stacker 830 put it on the wall turn on the water on Deck the Halls Style by Dollar Tree how's the weather Glad Tidings I got curious. every year my mom makes a scavenger hunt for free Christmas decorations like an inflatable Christmas tree or a nativity scene to look for as we drive around looking at Christmas lights with put on Christmas pajamas and drink cocoa as we drive through the neighborhoods listen to Christmas music some years my cousins come to and we all do and all over the beautiful lights sometimes my brother and I have a competition to see who can spot items in the scavenger hunt first when we finish we drive home and watch a Christmas movie this is one of my favorite Christmas Memories it was early one Christmas morning when Allie and I could sleep no longer we were too excited we decided to go downstairs we slowly crept making sure not to wake up our parents or a grandmother Nani who is visiting from California we looked in our stockings for yummy food we found Candy Stick sticking out the top we thought we had hit the motherload talking to all of the Sweet Surprises we tried only taking a few but you know how kids are she just wanted a walked in and we realize we are busted she just want to copy though we realize that our Nani does spoil us a lot isn't that would not either for we did end up getting in trouble by her parents but what can I say we had a lot of fun I get the Wiggles in the winter I get the Wiggles when it's cold outside I think it's cuz I can I got The Wiggles Legos I got The Wiggles Lego I got to be free I got really can't dance The Wiggles in the winter when it's cold outside I got The Wiggles I got The Wiggles the winter Wiggles all the holidays during Christmas I spend a lot of time with my family every Christmas Eve we go to the Christmas Eve service at church on my dad's side we go to my Randy's house and open presents we play games and she always has a great dessert for me on my mom's side we open presents Christmas morning and then read the Christmas story in the in the Bible then my grandfather makes waffles for breakfast my grandma two big fish for lunch and then we spend the day playing and watching Christmas movies at night we ride through the neighborhood on the razor and look at Christmas lights on Christmas Eve my mom's side of the family me go to the movie thing in hang out together we in the night at our house playing games we laugh have fun in Love on each other sweet tamales and stay up very late the next morning we wake up our parents excitedly telling us that it's Christmas morning we take time to celebrate Jesus's birthday we go to my aunt's house for a delicious breakfast some years we go to Colorado to see my dad's side of the family we ski and play in the snow will make wonderful Christmas Memories find sushi places nearby inside Goku run to Jesus by his side or something like that. Monchichi I love Christmas with my family most years my mom's side of the family mixed together and you play these really silly Christmas games some examples of fun games are seeing who can stuff the most marshmallows in their mouth or who can empty the tissue box the fastest some of the games we play can make a huge mess one of my favorite favorite Traditions is making a giant homemade pizza my dad and I will make the pizza while my mom watches a movie or takes down the Christmas tree sometimes my dad and I will put a funny face or a silly shape repeat that I will never forget these Christmas traditions Christmas at my Mimi and Papa's house it's always special my aunts and uncles and cousins from Amarillo and Dallas come to special time together my Mimi and Papa love having us all over and always make our time together very special on Christmas Eve Papa sits in his chair and tells Alton Davis grandchildren to come sit at his feet as he reads the Christmas story he makes sure to tell us how special we are to him he reminds us that God has a great plan for us and that he will always be in our Corner sometimes we go to Idaho to spend time with my mom's side of the family it's often cold and snowy we build snowman or with all our cousins and make snow angels in the front yard we get warm by GG's fireplace jijime big dinner for the family after dinner the games come out and we have the best time together we take pictures in front of the Christmas tree and Gigi tells us ngt Texas to the mountains to swim in the hot springs it is so much fun Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year because of the wonderful memories I make with my family show me the 47 poinsettia no no no no poinsettia Cubana tell me a princess story might regret that day. oh yeah yeah yeah yeah grandparents on behalf of all of us here Unity Christian School we want to wish you a very very Merry Christmas to you know 2020 is taught us a lot of things but one of the things that I have a new appreciation for is that we never need to take our family for granted so we did this program has brought you a little bit of joy in this Christmas season and we just want to finish it up by praying a blessing over you Heavenly Father we thank you so much for the amazing blessing it is to be a part of the school at 5 we recognize the everything that we enjoyed the school is because of the Legacy the foundation that was laid by many that have come before so father we thank you for our grandparents we thank you that they have need a foundation that allows us to thrive and to grow into be the school that we called to be to be the children to be the parents if you called us to be so father right now this Christmas season we pray a blessing over our grandparents God weather is low Salinas we pray that you would replace it with your presence and where there is a sense of loss God we pray that you would just show yourself faithful God bless our grandparents let them know how much we love them and father we four to the amazing opportunity that we're going to have to love them to hug them and father I also pray as we wrap up this program that they would not eat a Poinsettia and get a tummy ache in Jesus name amen bless you grandparents Christmas
