Trinity Parents Association (TPA)

The Trinity Parents’ Association (TPA)

TCS has always had as one of its core foundations the involvement of parents and families in the life of the school. While parents have always been involved in the different aspects of TCS, we have not always had a formalized program to both introduce and sustain parents in the many ways they help. A few years back, several parents were asked to join the beginnings of what we are now introducing as the Trinity Parents’ Association (TPA). We desire your participation in the TPA. Together we can be used by the Lord to do all that He intends for the joining together of the TCS Staff and all the families involved at TCS.

Volunteer Coordinator: Claudia Bradley – Are you looking for a w ay to plug-in at TCS? Have you read about all the exciting things and wonder how you can be a part? Trinity Christian School really is a family made up of wonderful parents who volunteer their time, talents, and treasures. We need you, and we are eager to help you connect. To find your place, contact Claudia Bradley today.

Extra Curricular Opportunities: Shanna St. Clair – Is your child interested in extra-curricular activities at school? Trinity offers opportunities to participate in musical theater, One-Act Play, Scholastic Art & Writing competitions and Science Olympiad, just to name a few. Trinity is aiming to expand both academic and fine art opportunities. If your student is interested in becoming more involved or you would like more information, you are encouraged to contact our TPA extra-curricular representative, Shanna St.Clair.

Connections: Carrie Hayslip- Parents, was your child a new student once, and you wished for someone who could “show you the ropes?” Did you feel overwhelmed with questions? What exactly is God and Nation Day? Should I be a room mom? What can a Dad do to get involved? Missions Week? Student Executive Council? Which campus do I go to for that? Well, we are here to help answer all those questions and more.

We are called the Connections Team. We are a group of parents who are willing to commit to a year of partnering with a new family at TCS. We are a friendly face to welcome them to the first day of school, athletic events, and extra-curricular activities. We hope to make each new student and family feel loved, accepted, and a part of the Trinity family.

Teacher Appreciation: Kacee Hogg – Here at TCS we love our teachers and try to take every opportunity to bless and thank them for all they do for our children and the school. One way we do this is through a monthly teacher appreciation luncheon. A different grade level each month provides lunch for each school campus. An email is sent out to the parents monthly to allow them to sign up to provide food or serve. We also provide goodies the first week in May during Teacher Appreciation Week. To find out how you can help, contact Kacee Hogg.

Mom’s Coffee: Leisha Gonzales – Ashlee Blacklock – Join moms from all stages of student life, as we eat, encourage and engage with one another over coffee, food, and so much more. Come as you are. Young children are welcome. When: 2nd Tuesday, September-April. Time: After drop-off: 8:30AM-9:30AM. Where: Trinity Central, Canton Campus.

Prayer Events: Holly Vinson – From the beginning, TCS was founded on prayer. We continue that legacy throughout all areas of the Trinity family. As parents, you can be a part of these opportunities to cover our kids, school, and children in prayer. Mom’s Prayer. Dad’s Prayer.
